Daytime Meet-Up - May

Our next daytime meet-up is Wednesday 30th May.  We will be meeting from 10am at The Shed Coffee Hub, Rabbit & Cocoon complex, 23 Hillcrest Pde, Miami.

Yarn-tastic!

Thanks to everyone who came along to the evening meet-up last night.  It was a record turnout with over a dozen of us there.  It was great to meet some new crafty friends and to catch up with some members that we haven't seen for a while.

As you can tell from the pics there was lots of yarn craft.  Must be the cooler weather ;-) 

We also took donations for the Pillowcases for Oncology Kids charity and for the silent auction that is being organised by CC member Vicki as part of her High Tea in the Pavilion Cancer Council fundraiser.  Thank you to those members that contributed.

The next meet-up will be a daytime one - Wednesday 30th May.  Venue to be announced.

Crafty Coasters May Meet-Up

Join us for craft and good company on Tuesday 15th May from 6:30pm at the Guide Hut, Margaret St Southport.  BYO crafty project or just come along for a chat.

This month we are collecting handmade pillowcases for the charity Pillowcases for Oncology Kids.  If you've got a handmade pillowcase to contribute then bring it along so that we can post the package this month.

We also have a request from Vicki, a Crafty Coasters member who is organising an event for The Biggest Morning Tea.  Vicki would love donations of handcrafted items to include in an auction.  All proceeds go to the Cancer Council. Commune

It was an unseasonably cold and wet on the Gold Coast today but we kept warm at Commune with coffee, cake and craft.

It was lovely to meet some new members of the group today and to find out what crafty activities they enjoy.

The next meet-up will be Tuesday 15th May from 6:30pm at the Guide Hut in Southport.

Crafty Coasters Daytime Meet-up

Autumn

Thanks to those who joined us on this wild and wintry April evening.  There were hearts, fleece, hexagons, rosettes and lots of yarn.  Chocolate and Easter eggs also featured.

Craft Coasters April Meet-Up
